Minako Nishiyama	Born in Hyogo prefecture in 1965. Currently lives in Hyogo prefecture. Uses sugar as a medium to create sculptures of objects like crowns and roses, as well as two-dimensional drawings in pink, all marked by a lovely sweetness. Solo exhibition Pink Vacancy in 2004.
Pipilotti Rist	Born in Grabs, Switzerland in 1962. Currently lives in Zürich. Creates video installation works. Solo exhibition The Cake is in Flames in 2002.
Mariko Mori	Born in Tokyo in 1967. Currently lives in New York. During the 1990s she became noted for creating photo and video works in which she herself was the subject, then later moved on to explore other themes from traditional Japanese culture, such as Buddhism and the tea ceremony.
